Jul 27, 2017 Hey boys and girls, welcome back to another video today i show you guys how to get a custom mob spawner in Minecraft!! Subscribe And Make Sure To Click The Bell Icon To Get Notified: NOTI SQUAD. From my understanding, there is no way to place a spawner from inv without mods. However, how do I place a spawner with commands in 1.11? I run a server, and the main town the players visit has a graveyard. I want to put a zombie spawner in there for lulz, fenced in of course.

With only this mod and Custom Spawner installed: |

I'm not sure it's CustomMobSpawner... I didn't install it, and I've seen dolphins and fish spawn in sand and a few other bugged spawns. |

Can confirm this is still an issue on 1.12 version of Mo'Creatures and CMS. This has been an issue on previous releases as well. Is it possible that the spawning checks are not verifying that there are Blocks.AIR at the position and also above the position for regular mobs? For Ghasts it probably requires a much larger position check for Air blocks. We also have modded blocks that mobs spawn in regularly. I think this is related to the same area of code where the modded block darkens the vanilla block below it. CMS only checks the lightlevel and if the block is not a full block (stairs, for example)? |

I think the spawning rules that are causing this are built into Mo Creatures, itself. As I said, I play without CMS installed, and a lot of Mo Creatures mobs spawn in blocks. |

Yeah, I can confirm the issue with Mobs spawning inside Redstone Blocks still exists as well. (screenshot attached). |

Downloading Mo'Creatures from the twitch app seems to download automatically, an older version of custom mob spawner that requires 1.10.2 (v3.10.4) when the 1.12.2 version requires the 1.12.2 (v3.11.4) version of custom mob spawner. |

Yeah, can confirm. No updates for Custom Mob Spawner on Curseforge since 2016, therefore we can't use it on Twitch. |

I had pointed this out end of last year as well #113 At current you have to Manually add in the correct version, which can not be uploaded to curse if you make modpacks because they will not allow it :/ makes it a pain for modpack makers |

confirmed confirmed confirmed and this actually bad for dr. zhark because so many of us would be adding it to our server packs and aka client packs. |

You dont need custom mob spawning mod in 1.12 version but it is set as a dependency so you need to manually remove it |
commented May 12, 2019
someone with access power needs to get on cursforge and delist thedependency if possible. …On Sat, May 11, 2019 at 10:28 PM billyty08 ***@***.***> wrote: You dont need custom mob spawning mod in 1.12 version but it is set as a dependency so you need to manually remove it — You are receiving this because you commented. Either way I have personally removed this from my pack due to the hassle it causes, as much as I loved the mod it's not worth the effort on updating files etc. |
commented May 12, 2019
exactly, this hassle ensures that DrZhark when he looks at CF demographicswonders why nobody is interested in his mod. It's because us Pack Devsdownload it, encounter the problem, report the issue, remove the mod andmove on. If this dependency issue were fixed, we'd download the mod andleave it in place because then there would be no problem and he would see aton of downloads because lets face it's the best more creatures mod out. IEbeing installed in pack that is popular like World of Dragons or somethingsimilar would net at least an additional 4k downloads a week per equallypopular pack that has it. …On Sun, May 12, 2019 at 8:40 AM RivaHakushia ***@***.***> wrote: Either way I have personally removed this from my pack due to the hassle it causes, as much as I loved the mod it's not worth the effort on updating files etc. — You are receiving this because you commented.
